Sign Up: Click the Sign Up button in the top right corner. Email Address: Enter your email address (e.g., [email protected] ) and click Continue . Password: Create a secure password. It is recommended to use a password manager like LastPass . Username: Choose a unique username. If your first choice is unavailable, try alternatives (e.g., gituser-bondaracademy ). Email Preferences: Decide if you want to receive updates via email and click Continue . Verification: Complete the verification quiz by matching the pig to the finger direction and submit. Account Creation: Enter the verification code sent to your email and provide some basic information about yourself. Select Account Type: Choose between a free or team account (select free for this lesson). Your GitHub account will now be created, and you will be directed to your dashboard. Here, you can manage your repositories and contributions. Remember to keep your account organized, as it can be a valuable asset for showcasing your projects to potential recruiters.
